Rebecca Fordon for the Kenneth J. Hirsh Distinguished Service Award 

Rebecca Fordon, Assistant Director for Innovation, Research, and Instruction in the Moritz Law Library at Ohio State University, was selected for the Kenneth J. Hirsh Distinguished Service Award based on her exceptional scholarship and significant contributions to legal technology and the profession at large. Several people also emphasized how her insightful writings and presentations—particularly on emerging and timely technologies—have directly informed and enriched their own work. Congratulations Rebecca!

Justin Peters for the 2026 LIT-SIS Leadership Academy Grant

Justin Peters, Research & Instruction Librarian at the Florida State University College of Law Research Center, has been selected to receive the 2026 LIT-SIS Leadership Academy Grant. Justin recently took on a supervisory role overseeing digital projects and managing staff within the Research Center, and this grant will support his professional growth and leadership development.
